We are a country of culture and festivals. There are 24 national festivals in India including Diwali, Holi, Navratri, and many more. People in India celebrate festivals with great excitement and joy. Everyone prefers to take ethnic wear during festivals. Like on Diwali, Men prefer to wear kurta pajamas and women prefer to wear a suit or saree. Like in the Navratri season, everyone prefers to wear a dhoti kurta and saree. There are many ethnic outfits like-
For Men
It consists of two pieces of garment; one is a kurta that is top wear and the second is a pajama that is
bottom wear. This is one of the basic clothing of Indian men. There are many fabrics in which kurtas can be
made like cotton, silk, bandhani, and many more which includes them in Traditional Ethnic Wear.
- Indo-western Suit– It is the fusion of Indian and Western clothing for men. This includes fusion of Indian style of Coats with Western style of coats. It gives a very attractive look to men. It can be styled in different ways and available both in stiched and unstiched form.
For Women-
- Saree- Saree is the most traditional India Wear for women. In early times saree is wear by Indian women in their routine life and also on special occasions. It is the oldest India attire. Saree comes in different styles and in different fabrics like silk, net and many more.
- Lehnga- Lehnga is basically a 3 or 2 pc dress. The first pc in the bottom wear i.e. lehnga , second pc is the upper wear i.e. blouse and the third part is chooni that is wrapped over the dress. Lehnga is very famous women attire in Indian Market. There are 2 type of lehngas – 1. Bridal Lehnga and 2. Non-Bridal lehnga. Bridal lehnga is wear by brides on their wedding ceremony and non-bridal lehnga can be wear by any women on any occasion.
